Day 4016: 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 last day of our holiday today (if I don’t include the 477 mile drive home tomorrow). I went down to the beach again but looked back up at our cottage in the hill, and drew the group of herring gulls that always seem to
Day 4015: 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 some local sheep on the move (they seem to traipse down the road completely independently); beach sketch at our lunch top on our walk around the Kyle of Durness, I think I identified the birds as ringed plovers. There was a s

Mostly gouache on these with pencil on top for details. The sunset one had pan past

I used mainly gouache with a bit of pencil (inktense and luminance) and spray paint.

Day 4012: 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Today we walked around Faraid Head and took in the stunning beaches of Bainakeil Bay. Went for a swim at our ‘home’ beach later on. Gorgeous sunshine (and a breeze, so no midges).
